The purpose of the weekend is to enable you to understand what DNS is about and if this is something

for you. Our task is to open DNS for you and to teach you about the program and other important elements.

Your task is to use all your senses, open up and watch, listen ,ask all your questions,

feel , touch, taste and more than anything else, participate in the different activities. 

To guide you a little in this, we have put up the following task you should accomplish during your stay in order to qualify your understanding of DNS.

 1. Explore Tvind with it´s many activities.

2. Take part in an evening program, participate in practical action.

3. Meet DNS students, meet students from the different care homes at Tvind interview them,

find out who they are, what they do, and why.

4. Get a presentation about the DNS education.

5. Visit the other schools and care homes in Tvind. Find out what they are and how they are

connected to DNS: PTG, The International Continuation School, The Day School, The Individual

Designed program, The Care Home at DNS

6. Take part in cooking a meal in our big kitchen or dishwashing.

7. Arrange a meeting with Anne Hoejholt or Steen

8. Make sure that you have got all the answers for your questions.

 THE PROGRAM STARTS FRIDAY NIGHT with DINNER AT 18:30 (EVENING PROGRAMME FROM 20:00-21:30)

AND ENDS SUNDAY AFTER LUNCH.

You should come to Ulfborg station in West Jutland. It is about 1 h north of Esbjerg by train. If you tell me your arrival  time in Ulfborg, we will come to pick you up on the station. Tvind is  5 km from Ulfborg.

WHAT DO YOU BRING ALONG?

300 DKK (appr. 50 Euros) for food and accommodation. 

Sleeping bag and sport clothes, some practical clothes.

1500 DKK (apr. 200 Euros) for enrolment (if you wish to enrol at DNS)
